Welcome, Jennyfer!

Hi Team,

Happy July! I hope you’re all doing well.

We’ve had some significant changes on the leadership team that I’d love to relay to you.

At the end of May, our social media manager, Jazzmin Martinez, decided to pursue an exciting opportunity to work with her husband’s company and took the leap. We are all thrilled for her future and definitely understand her decision. With her position to fill, we dove into the hiring process in early June. After over 200 applications and hours of consideration and interviews, I am delighted to introduce you to Jennyfer Javier, CTEDU’s new Director of Marketing and Media! She has been working with the team for a couple of weeks now and I wanted to introduce her to everyone here via email before officially meeting “in person” via Zoom in a couple of weeks on July 14th at our monthly all team meeting.

Jennyfer graduated from Rutgers University in New Jersey with a degree in Communications and Human Resource Management. After graduation, she worked at a health tech company in NYC doing Investor Relations, but then was awarded the opportunity to move to Brazil to complete a Fulbright Fellowship. In Brazil, Jennyfer taught English at a University and developed community engagement programs focused on intercultural communication and women’s empowerment. And now, we’re happy to have her as part of the team at Coach Training EDU!

Please feel welcome to say hello and introduce yourself to her! Jennyfer will also be co-leading our upcoming book club with Ashley kicking off on July 17th. We will be reading Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson. Our leadership team will be participating in the book club this month and we’d love to have you join if you feel called as well. You can sign up on our events page.

In other exciting news, after six months of hours and hours of tedious hard work our new website went live TODAY! It’s truly been an immense labor of love and commitment to excellence and we couldn’t have done it without our incredible leadership team and tech support. We are working through the final stages of the transfer and while the site is nearly eight times faster than before, if you see or notice anything out of the ordinary please let us know, so we can work out any kinks if they arise.

Also a quick reminder that the leadership team will be out of the office tomorrow, Friday July 3rd, and will be back on Monday to answer all email and support queries.

Wishing everyone a lovely weekend!
